Situational Leadership and You

Assignment Introduction and Context:

In this week’s discussion, you will review four situational components (telling, selling, participation, and delegation) and analyze your strengths and weaknesses with regard to you as a leader. How do you do in telling others what and how to do their jobs? How do you do in the area of selling others on the purpose and importance of what they are being asked to do? How are you at working alongside leaders that need supervised experience? And, how are you at “letting go” and delegating fully to those who are ready, willing, and able and motivated to lead?

List the four situational components (telling, selling, participation, and delegation) and rank them from highest to lowest (with four being the highest and one being the lowest) based upon your personal strengths and weaknesses.
