Naomi Campbell complains every year that designers do not use enough black models –are we unaware because
• We live in a multi-cultural society, yet the fashion catwalks are mainly white
• Does this reflect society properly or not?
• Should fashion houses be using a mix of models?
• Do magazines use enough black models—which ones? Are they household names?
• Is the High street any better? Do shop windows mirror the public or not?
• Are make-up companies more enlightened –or do they leave it for ‘black skin’ make-up
• Are ads companies using more of a racial mix ? Which ones stand out?
• Name three to five top models & brands where they are featured, this can include entertainers as many have their own perfume.
