Many aspects of my life define who I am.  I strive to do well in school no matter how hard the work is or how much work I have to do.  I constantly challenged myself with schoolwork and made sure all of my work was completed to my best abilities.  This shaped me into the hard worker I am today.  Throughout high school, I volunteered my time to service my community.  I enjoyed putting others first and helping when I could.  As a result, I became more selfless and more concerned about others in my community.  I spent two summers of my high school career attending academic academies and last summer I completed an internship at a local financial institution.  I joined many clubs and participated in the Academy of Finance for four years and will earn my certificate of financial studies at graduation.  Completing all these activities made me discover how ambitious and motivated I am.  All of these aspects of my life defined me as hard working, selfless, and ambitious.

Since starting my search for colleges, Babson has excited me deeply.  Babson’s high academic standard will present challenges each day in my schoolwork and will allow me to constantly improve.  Through the numerous community service opportunities Babson offers such as Habitat for Humanity, Babson will give me the chance to give back to my community and help others across the globe.  The outstanding student to faculty ratio will give me the opportunity to get to know my professors and will create a more personal education experience.  Lastly, what excites me most about Babson is a sense of community.  At Babson, I will be able to continue to work hard, help others, and be motivated like I am today.  While moving to a completely new location miles away from my house, I will still be able to feel at home attending Babson.
