Heat transfer to/from roads, road heat capcity, temperature changes, & modeling of road temperature

I need a comprehensive literature review from engineering, physics, and meteorological journals. We’re looking for previous studies that have examined the heat capacity & heat transfer of road surfacesf, environmental causes for rapid road/asphalt heating/cooling, and numerical modeling of road temperatures given current & predicted weather conditions. Are there any previous studies that have proposed, developed, and/or implemented a road temperature model (for example, to predict if road temperatures will cool enough for rain to freeze on the roads). Are there any road temperature models currently in use operationally anywhere in the world?
