The “Amendment IV: Warrants and Probable Cause” case of United States v. Knights, and explain what you feel that the issue in the case was. What was the rule of law being challenged/addressed? Give an analysis of the legal issue as it relates to the law set forth, and explain the conclusion that the court reached and why?

This must be in SPA format and include a cover page, abstract, discussion, conclusion, and references. Each student must demonstrate insight and understanding of the reading material, and are encouraged to draw implications and inferences from the material.  Each student may include their opinions as part of the Written Exercise, but, each paper is required to include factual content supported by references from the academic material. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a lower grade. All written exercises will be evaluated on the following evaluative criteria:

 Level of Detail  (LS)

 Fact-Finding  (FF)

 Analysis and Interpretation  (AI)

 Overall Content  (CO)

Each of these assignments are required to be scholarly written and must follow the current American Psychological Association (SPA) format and style, including the following- cover page, abstract, discussion, conclusions, and references. The SPA format can be obtained from the Saint Leo Library website, from the purchase of SPA reference materials, or from the commercial purchase of software templates or from the SPA website. No assignments will be accepted if they do not conform to the current SPA format and style. All written assignments will be submitted to the Dropbox. (The Dropbox baskets are linked to Turning.) Failure to follow these instructions may result in a lower grade. Students must respond to three other papers by Sunday of the respective module.
