• Write a 3-5 page Reflective Paper that addresses the following questions:
o Explain how you chose your theoretical orientation
 What drew you to practice under that specific orientation
 What challenges do you foresee practicing under your orientation:
• In the workforce
• In your home and personal life
• The way you will view others and relationships such as peers, colleagues, family, or simply the way you look at people, etc.
o Are you comfortable conceptualizing under this orientation? If not, how can you better yourself educate yourself to practice your theoretical orientation?
o How will your orientation work with the population you want to work with (i.e. children, babies, infants, toddlers, adolescents)?
o Are their any discrepancies with the articles that you picked and your orientation?
 For example, the articles states is best used with adolescents, but you can see how it can work with elementary children as well .
• Make sure to cite your work and reference your peer review articles!

• LASTLY – Have fun getting to know the clinician you strive to be. This exercise is to help you build your confidence when working with children, adolescents, but, even more so with peers, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, supervisors, and different working environments (schools, hospitals, agencies, etc.)
