[An Incomplete World: Works from the UBS Art Collection] & [inner worlds outside]

Your task is:
1. find the book and borrow it
2. have a good look at it, read or scan at least enough of its contents to be able to introduce it to the group and summarise its contents (5 minutes)
3. survey the artists/artworks it covers and choose one whose work has some relation to your own- it doesn’t have to be painting, it may relate thematically, materially, conceptually, formally.
Talk about how you relate to/respond to the work. If there is nothing you can relate to your own work then tell us why! (5mins)
4. look around the shelves and choose another book – one which you havent seen before but which attracts you for some reason- any reason. Borrow it as well and give a brief intro to it and why you
chose it. What connections does it make with your own thinking or practice? Think laterally! (5 minutes)
