Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

Conduct an interview with a company owner or manager in an organization related to your CTE major. Choose a company with at least 20 employees; do not use your family-owned business or current employer. Additionally, do not use family members. Respond to the four questions below by typing a two-page paper in standard format (12 font, Times New Roman, 1” Margins, Double Spaced):

1. What production and service changes have occurred within this field or industry in recent years?

2. What hiring expectations does the company have for new employees? Have these requirements changed over the years, and if so, how?

3. What is the career ladder within this field or industry? What kinds of additional training and education are required to advance in this field?

4. How could schools better prepare students for the world of work?
