my dissertation topics, rational, possible research questions and research designs.
I have been thinking of doing in either Online Language Learning(OLL) or Language Testing(LT) area.

For OLL, I am thinking to do something relate to like youtube video with subtitles for English language learning. There’s a website called Voicetube in Taiwan. I would like to do a pre-test and
post test maybe on university students in Taiwan and introduce students this website at the beginning of the semester and do the post test at the end of the semester, interviews could also be used.
Ask them if it is useful for them to improve English… and I have no idea… Is this a possible dissertation proposal? Could you help me to expand it more? Is it more relate to the area of
Teaching listening?

As for LT, I am thinking of doing Learners/ Teachers’ attitude toward Language Testing. At my university before, there’s a course related to language testing. I am thinking perhaps I can do pre-
test and post-test and maybe some semi-structured interview on students at the beginning of the course and the end….I have little idea about this one….

use references to give me suggestions….on both topics, rational, possible research questions(3-5) and research designs.
