1/         Investigate the standard methods of manufacturing cost reporting include the following. (Balance sheet, Direct costs, prime costs, overhead costs, profit and loss account, breakeven point) include some relevant examples and the formulas that are used.

2/ Manufacturing account – from the information below identify the following financial elements.

A          Identify the direct manufacturing costs.

B/         Identify other indirect manufacturing costs

C/        Complete the table and calculate the manufacturing cost

Task 3- In Manufacturing Explain the advantages and disadvantages of standardisation. Include in your research the following: –

Design standards such as Drawing standards, Threads, Limits and fits, Surface Finish standards, geometric tolerance standards, Materials standards
