I have applied into an undergraduate school called UIUC and got denied since my initial English proficiency test scores were less. I retook the test after hearing the denial decision, and following are my new/better scores.

Listening: 8.50 out of 9.00
Reading: 6.00 out of 9.00
Writing: 7.50 out of 9.00
Speaking: 8.00 out of 9.00
Overall: 7.50 out of 9.00

I was supposed to score a minimum of 7.5 overall score with a minimum of 7 in each section. As you can see the only section I’m lagging in is Reading.

I want you to write me an essay type thing for reconsideration/repealing the decision. Explain the decision makers the reasons for the appeal by describing details about my academic excellence, and/or whatever suits/looks good.

My major is computer science, and I’ve got excellent programming skills in C++ and C#. And my English skills are also pretty decent besides Reading. My current college GPA is 3.717 out of 4.0. I had always been in honors standing at my current college after each semester.

Attached is my admission essay that I had written first at the time of submitting application. You may use it as a reference.

Also, do mention that the official test score report of the latest test is on it’s way. The university should have it within the next 2-3 days.
