Assignment: Watch movie “Deep Water Horizon” (http://www.deepwaterhorizon.movie/ ) currently shown in theaters and write a report discussing the following issues: 1. Summarize the story, identify and explain the causes leading to the accident. 2. How does the story affect you ethically, professionally and personally? 3. Were registered professional engineer used by BP to verify/review the design process and assist with rational key engineering recommendations and decisions? 4. If you were an engineer involves with the design process that may severely affect the environment like in this case, what would you do to protect yourself, your career, your company and the environment?
