Compare and contrast the media systems in two countries. For one country, you can select your own.
Include such things as:
– What media exist in each country?
– Which media are most popular in each country? For example one form of media may be obviously minimal.
– How does the use of social media compare? Similar usage or different?
– What about the use of cellular phones?
– Consider all the forms of media we have talked about – oral culture, books, magazines, newspapers, radio, tv,
movies, internet
– Examine the overall media ownership of the major media. Is it owned by one company, a few companies or
many? Who are the owners?
