Technique analysis is an important part of the coach’s role.
i) Choose a specific action (e.g., Badminton drop shot) within a sport of your choice and present a qualitative analysis highlighting key cues that the coach may look for when assessing execution
of the technique.
ii) What methods might be employed to make a quantitative analysis of the action (e.g., notational analysis, kinematic analysis)?
iii) Describe a specific intervention that could be used to modify your chosen technique and give the rationale for the chosen intervention.
iv) Provide a sample coaching plan to support your intervention
