Having chosen two (2) documents write a primary source analysis that addresses the following questions:
• What is the document? Who/what/whom produced the document, and who/what/whom was the intended audience?
• In what context was the document produced? Who/what/when/where/why informed the document’s content?
• What is the historical significance of the document? What does it teach us about the time period, and the conditions of the society in which it was produced?
• Are the documents you’ve chosen conflicting or complementary? That is, do the documents provide evidence of similarity or difference?
