Go to www.ted.com/talks and search for “The Danger of a Single Story” and watch.

Go to youtube and search “A Look at Race Relations Through a Child’s Eyes” and watch.

Both of these videos are overwhelming to watch when we see first hand how bias is assumed and learned. Write a response about the two videos and then write about some ways teachers in classrooms can improve relationships not just between races, but also genders, abilities and so on.

This extra credit is worth 30 points. Each full, meaningful sentence is worth a possible 1 point, so be sure to write at least 30 sentences or more to assure getting the most points
