Chemical Pesticides- Effect on Our Foods and Our Bodies

Chemical Pesticides- Effect on Our Foods and Our Bodies
Order Description
In this research assessment, you will work on an important part of any research process—understanding competing perspectives on an issue. These perspectives can broadly oppose your stance on an issue, or they might stand in opposition to specific parts of your own position on a topic.
For example, with a topic such as immigration:
The position statement could be: Immigration is a valuable asset to America, but it must be controlled, and immigrants should not be given welfare benefits.
One opposition stance or competing perspective is: Immigration is not an asset to America and it should be banned.
Another competing perspective is: Immigrants are an asset to America, and they need to receive welfare benefits.

With that in mind, follow the given steps to complete the assessment:

State your own position on a topic and then research competing perspectives or opposition arguments.

Find at least two articles that oppose your position.
Use APA format for each source on the References page.

Write a 400–500 word (2–3 page, double-spaced) paper in which you briefly summarize each article, state the evidence and support that the opposition gives for its views, and then explain why this article did or did not make you rethink or revise your own position.

Include an APA title page. Refer to the sample APA title page given in the handout titled “APA Title Page Format” at the end of the study guide.
Cite the sources in APA format in-text and on the References List page.
