Identify and research three case studies of technology solutions in emerging markets. Please do not use any examples mentioned in class. If you’re having trouble finding examples, please reference the links at the bottom of this assignment description.

(Two 2 page write-ups, and one 4 page write-up = 8 pages total.)

Please include the following elements in your write-ups:

Description of Technology: What is it? Where is it? How does it work?
Description of Problem: What is it solving?
Identification of End User/Consumer/Beneficiary (Target Audience): Who is this being made for? Is the technology solution appropriate for the user? Be specific (demographics, profession, geographical location, income… whatever is relevant to the problem and the solution at hand).
Competition: What other solutions exist? Is this solution better or worse at addressing the problem than its competition?
Distribution: How is the solution accessed by the end user?
Analysis: How is this solution specific to an emerging market? How would the design/distribution differ if it were to be aimed at a developed world economy?
Open-Ended: Please feel free to include comments and analysis that you find interesting and relevant about the technology solutions you researched (no more than 1/2 page please).
