For the project you are supposed to be following your energy usage to determine your impact on the environment. You are then writing a 5 page double spaced paper summarizing what you have learned. The paper should include an introduction with background information, a methods section detailing what you did, a results section that shows the results of your impact (you can include a graph here but it should not be a full page-graphs need to add substance to the paper not just take up space to meet the page requirement), and a discussion section where you explain your results and put them into context. You also need a citation page. As far as tracking your energy usage you can use old bills, track how far you drive and how fuel efficient your car is, etc. and you enter this data into one or more of the carbon footprint calculators. I provided several suggestions on the handout describing the project but you are free to use whatever calculator you choose.
