BUSINESS REPORT: GLOBAL STRATEGY ANALYSIS
Suppose you are a global strategy consultant employed by an Australian manufacturing or service company (you may find suitable companies in the ASX index). The Australian company intends to expand its business to another country and hopes to do so by forming a strategic alliance or other strategic partnership with a local firm there (Entry Strategy).
As its strategy consultant, you are required to write a report to the CEO of your Australian company with your analysis and recommendations on the following areas:
- Which new country location should the Australian company invest in, and why? Which local firm in the new country location should the Australian company form a strategic alliance/partnership (or any other international business entry strategy) with? Why? 3. What other business-level strategies you would recommend to the newly formed strategic alliance? Why?
