Background
As part of this module students are required to critically evaluate data concerning patients referred for radiographic examination of the appendicular skeletal system and be capable of relating diagnostic imaging reports to subsequent patient management.

The Task
Critically analyse the reports that have been provided for 3 cases referred for appendicular radiography. Comment on the quality of the report in relation to the information provided and how this may influence patient management. The status of the reporter will be indicated.
Clinical details and images available.

Students should consider the difficulties in reporting the images with the information provided, whether the clinical question has been answered, the detail given in the report, have all abnormalities been addressed, this includes incidental findings and would the management be altered by a different report. Whether the reporter has a medical background and whether the style of the report is influenced by this.
Assignment should be supported by relevant literature.
