The student will be expected to produce a 4000 word reflective assignment, based on a case study approach which will summatively assess the student’s clinical and theoretical knowledge and its application to decision making.

This assessment will measure the following learning outcomes:
Theory:
1. Identify and explain altered physiology and or psychology resulting in, and from, altered health states.
2. Critically analyse clinical judgement, diagnostic reasoning and decision making.
3.Analyse clinical presentations and investigative results with respect to the relevant health state.
4. Critically explore and synthesise shared decision making in relation to the individual case study.

Clinical:
1. Identify and explain an individual’s altered physiology and or mental health.
2. Critically apply and rationalise clinical judgement, diagnostic reasoning and decision making.
3. Demonstrate evaluation of clinical presentation and investigative results with respect to relevant altered physiology or psychology.
4. Critically apply shared decision making.
