A report on the current statutory framework for identifying and working with children with Special Educational Needs in England (THE SEND CODE OF PRACTICE).

Part one: The purpose of part one is to summarise key elements of the code of practice which comes from the 2014 Children and Families Act.
Describe in your words four or five of the main changes this piece of legislation has made to SEN in schools in England. The changes should be discussed: why have they been made and for whom are they significant?
Part two: The purpose of part two is to discuss current controversies in the field of SEN
In your own words describe two current controversies that surround the education of children with special educational needs. You can draw on newspaper reports, pressure groups, recent research papers, conference reports to find these. You should discuss these controversies looking at more than one side of an argument.
Conclusion: Summarise the most important points you have described and discussed in parts one and two. If you were to recommend one improvement to the current situation in England with regards to SEN provision what would it be?
