Order Description
Writing a summary of a newspaper article related to the theme for each week – you can choose any newspaper to source your article, paste the whole text (without any picture) onto your journal (do not worry about your similarity level related to the original news article), and summarise the content of the articles in one or two paragraphs.
A connection between the articles and the materials you have learned from the lecture as well as the readings must be evident – remember that the point of this exercise is to link your learning in class with the reality of people’s lives in Asia.

Some important points for your journals:
1. For each week, please do not go over 300 words excluding references.
2. Please write your journal in an essay format (using paragraphs). Do not write your journal in pointers.
3. Please submit your journal in Microsoft Word format only
