   3. In your opinion, is the film “Top Gun” jingoistic? Tell why or why not? Wikipedia describes jingoism as chauvinistic patriotism, usually associated with a War Hawk political stance. In practice, it refers to sections of the general public who advocate bullying other countries or using whatever means necessary (usually military force) to safeguard a country’s national interests.
